Why are most people so fearful of the suicide?

Hey, if your fine with killing yourself and aren't afraid, then more power to you, but me, I'd like to live my life without thinking about killing myself. Who wants to think about it? It's not rainbows and butterflys man, it's death by your own hand. Nothing wrong with fearing it, it's and understandable fear.
